A torsion spring is a spring made from wire that is loaded through twisting (torsion). The torsion spring provides a force opposite to the direction in which the spring is loaded.
The operating temperature of torsion springs depends on the type of material used. Due to the wide range of available materials, we can supply torsion springs that remain functional between -200 degrees Celsius and well over +1000 degrees Celsius. Roveron can supply torsion springs in various types and sizes, from standard straight torsion springs to conical and bi-conical torsion springs. Torsion springs are available with wire diameters from 0.2mm up to approximately 65mm.
